Congratulations to Brielle Plost and family on their upcoming newest addition to the family! In a few short weeks, they will be welcoming another BOY to the family. We started the session with both kids not interested in taking pictures. But after a few tosses in the air, running around, and taking a photo with the "turtle" they were all in on the fun! My sessions are always filled with movement and being still for a moment is rare. Let your kids be kids. I promise the end result are the ones to remember!

Remember Photographers, don't STRESS!

I remember when I started photography that I always had a list of things I wanted to do, but gradually over the years, I have to let your kids lead the way, and I promise it gets easier if you LET THEM BE! 

Don't complicate it friends! If you make it complicated, your kids will get even more stressed and not be willing to do anything. 

1. Start with warming up the kids.
2. Move back, move close, angle to the left, angle to the right. Give breaks!
3. Do playful movements.

Trick is to place your family and allow them to be in a pose and then create some space to let them be. You can capture different sorts of angles and it's kind of like doing the cupid shuffle during a session. We can all have fun without the stress!
