I have been getting lost of inquiries for maternity/newborn sessions for those mom’s expecting late 2021 and early 2022. Most start off their message with “I am very early still and haven’t announced yet but wanted to reach out to you because I know you book up fast”.

I always tell my clients and anyone that asks, it is best to get secured in before I reach my capacity for that specific month. I book 5 newborns per month. I also leave open spaces in my agenda to keep it flexible for when baby decides to make their arrival earthbound. (For clients living an hour or two hours away, we actually have to SET a date a few days after your expecting due date so we can plan our travel and stay.)

So if you are expecting and are in your first trimester, start looking around to find the newborn photography that is your best fit and get secured in. We photographers find JOY in capturing moments for your family that it kills us when we have to say “fully booked” to a family because they waited too long to secure a session.
